French national Martin Bez is a former professional skipper. He holds a professional aquaculture certificate and was also a tuna fisherman before changing his life.
He is married to Christina Jansson, a Swedish national whose family is native to the Stockholm archipelago. They have spent many holidays with their children since 1982 isolated in nature on the island of Tjockö.

For around twenty years, he has created and directed the contemporary art gallery, Dock Sud in the south of France with a parallel location in Beijing in China and on the French-Belgian border.
Martin Bez is an art adventurer with eclectic projects based on the values of conscience and solidarity.​

Martin Bez is, among other things, the agent and producer in Europe of the famous Chinese photographer and performer Li Wei.
Li Wei is an artist who has freed himself once and for all from the laws of gravitation. His photos, which play with gravity, are a hymn to the freedom of body and mind.​

Martin Bez is also associated with the visionary exhibition of sacred Peruvian Amazonian shamanic art "Art Chamanique" from November 2023 to May 2024 at the Musée d'Art premier Jacques Chirac du Quai Branly in Paris.
 
"Onanyati" is an artistic and cultural project dedicated to preserving the Amazon rainforest and the culture of Indian peoples through art.
